Treasury Allocation Update
As reflected on the QLP page, traders on Quanto have consistently been earning QTO through platform activity. To support continued payouts in a transparent and sustainable manner, Quanto will be transferring 45,000,000 QTO from the Treasury wallet to the designated Custody wallet, and distributed into the protocol for user withdrawals.
Our priority is to maintain a fair and efficient trading environment. While trader profitability benefits active participants, we recognize this can influence the broader token economy.
In general, trader gains are accrued in QTO and may introduce short-term selling pressure if those tokens are realized, whereas trader losses result in QTO being earned by the QLP stakers. These market dynamics are inherent to a live, functioning system and are transparently observable on-chain.
We remain committed to balancing trader incentives, tokenholder alignment, and long-term ecosystem health through responsible treasury management and clear disclosure. In light of this, the team is actively evaluating the protocol tokenomics structure to ensure the protocol and token economy has longevity. More updates on future changes as soon as clear decisions regarding this are made.
An additional 50,000,000 QTO from the Treasury wallet will be allocated to a live-token raise round.
This means a total of 95,000,000 will be moved from the Treasury wallet into:
1. The protocol for user withdrawals. (4.5m)
2. Distributed to investors of this raise round. (5m)
Thank you for your support and trust.
